Help your student engage culture thoughtfully, confidently, and biblically

Your student will encounter competing worldviews everywhere—online, in college, in culture, and in everyday life.
The question is not whether they will face challenging ideas, but whether they will be prepared to evaluate those ideas through the truth of Scripture.

The Omnibus I Secondary Self-Paced Course helps students strengthen biblical discernment while engaging some of the most influential works of literature, theology, and culture.

Through guided instruction, interactive learning, and a classical Christian approach, students learn how to think critically, communicate thoughtfully, and engage the world with wisdom and conviction.

Omnibus helps students learn how to:

This course naturally complements Omnibus I Primary, but also works beautifully as a standalone course with a lighter workload and stronger emphasis on literature and worldview discussion.

Students engage timeless works while learning to evaluate every idea through the lens of Scripture.

Study Influential Works That Shape Thinking

Students explore works such as:

  • The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis
  • The Holiness of God by R.C. Sproul
  • The Screwtape Letters
  • Till We Have Faces
  • Romans
  • Galatians
  • Isaiah
  • Jeremiah
  • James
    and many more.

These books help students wrestle with:

  • truth and deception
  • holiness and sin
  • courage and sacrifice

Your student will also need these resources to complete the course:

Omnibus I - Student Text

The student text leads the student through the study of the great works, from the dawn of time to the fall of Rome, teaching with the emphasis on ideas, not simply information.
This book includes a daily schedule and will make teaching and interacting with the greatest works of Western Civilization both enjoyable and profitable. Students will also apply and further develop their skills in composition, logic, and aesthetics. Students completing all six years of Omnibus will have carefully studied every book of the Bible, too.
The student text assigns the readings for the primary and secondary books each day. We have gathered these books into discounted kits. The Primary reading covers books that the student will interact with most. Papers, tests, field trips, etc. will generally be more geared to the primary books. Secondary reading is not necessarily less important, but it is given less emphasis.

IT'S AMAZING!!!

Michelle| 04/29/2026 2:11 pm

We just had the opportunity to try the new platform for Self-Paced. IT'S AMAZING!!! I've made my kids print off every worksheet and quiz in the past so we could review them together. This resulted in many tears each time a child forgot and we would get upset because we couldn't help them when they got a bad grade on something so they could understand what went wrong. I am SO HAPPY to see that I can now access their results in detail!! And my printer will be happy to not be printing several tests and worksheets and quizzes for 3 kids each week! Thank you!

Thanks for being a beacon of truth in this world!

Thanks for the great coursework in the Omnibus curriculum! I am a grown-up and I am taking these courses myself and they have been so inspiring to me. I have integrated a lot of materials into the worldview lessons I've been teaching in my church's youth group. Both my kids are taking Omnibus SP courses even though they are not homeschooled but go to a christian school. Omnibus and the Elementary level Bible and History courses are great additions to their school curriculum! Thanks for being a beacon of truth in this world!

I LOVE Veritas Press!
