Help your student learn to think biblically about history, literature, theology—and life itself
The world is full of ideas competing for your child’s mind.
The question is not whether students will encounter powerful worldviews—but whether they will be prepared to evaluate them through the lens of truth.
The Omnibus I Primary Self-Paced Course helps students engage the Great Books of the ancient world while learning to think critically, discern wisely, and respond biblically.
Through guided instruction, interactive learning, and a classical Christian approach, students explore foundational works of history, literature, theology, and philosophy—all connected through a Christian worldview.

More Than Literature. More Than History. More Than Bible.
Omnibus is designed to help students see the unity of all knowledge.
Instead of studying subjects in isolation, students learn how:
- history shapes culture
- literature reflects worldview
- theology influences civilization
- ideas impact generations
This integrated, classical approach helps students develop wisdom—not just accumulate information.
Omnibus combines:
- history
- theology
- literature
into one unified learning experience.
Study the Great Books of the Ancient World
Students engage some of the most influential works ever written, including:
- Genesis
- Exodus
- 1 & 2 Samuel
- 1 & 2 Kings
- Luke & Acts
- Gilgamesh
- The Odyssey
- The Aeneid
- Histories by Herodotus
- The Last Days of Socrates
- Julius Caesar
and more.
Students don’t simply read these works—they learn how to evaluate them through the truth of Scripture.

Extend the Learning Beyond the Screen
Your student will also need these resources to complete the course:
Omnibus I - Student Text
The student text leads the student through the study of the great works, from the dawn of time to the fall of Rome, teaching with the emphasis on ideas, not simply information.
This book includes a daily schedule and will make teaching and interacting with the greatest works of Western Civilization both enjoyable and profitable. Students will also apply and further develop their skills in composition, logic, and aesthetics. Students completing all six years of Omnibus will have carefully studied every book of the Bible, too.
The student text assigns the readings for the primary and secondary books each day. We have gathered these books into discounted kits. The Primary reading covers books that the student will interact with most. Papers, tests, field trips, etc. will generally be more geared to the primary books. Secondary reading is not necessarily less important, but it is given less emphasis.

Great Course

I was 15 when I took this course and an avid reader. This course challenged me to think more about my reading then I had ever done before, and I really enjoyed reading fascinating books like Hammurabi's laws and Herodotus's Histories. I appreciate Mr. Bruce and the many other godly men who help train me to defend the faith. Highly recommend this course the pace and some of the content might go over some middle schoolers heads. Thank you for this program Grant
IT'S AMAZING!!!

We just had the opportunity to try the new platform for Self-Paced. IT'S AMAZING!!! I've made my kids print off every worksheet and quiz in the past so we could review them together. This resulted in many tears each time a child forgot and we would get upset because we couldn't help them when they got a bad grade on something so they could understand what went wrong. I am SO HAPPY to see that I can now access their results in detail!! And my printer will be happy to not be printing several tests and worksheets and quizzes for 3 kids each week! Thank you!
Thanks for being a beacon of truth in this world!

Thanks for the great coursework in the Omnibus curriculum! I am a grown-up and I am taking these courses myself and they have been so inspiring to me. I have integrated a lot of materials into the worldview lessons I've been teaching in my church's youth group. Both my kids are taking Omnibus SP courses even though they are not homeschooled but go to a christian school. Omnibus and the Elementary level Bible and History courses are great additions to their school curriculum! Thanks for being a beacon of truth in this world!
I LOVE Veritas Press!
