The Divine Comedy, Vol. 3: Paradise (5P)
Details
Dante wrote his Comedy in colloquial Italian rather than Latin, wanting it to be a poem for the common reader. The masterpiece was written in the early 1300's. He took two threads of a story that everybody knew and loved; the story of a vision of Hell, Purgatory, and Paradise, and the story of the lover who must brave the underworld to find his lost lady. This is the third volume in Dante's Divine Comedy. Reunited with his beloved Beatrice the poet-narrator journeys with her through the heavenly spheres and comes to know €œthe state of blessed souls after death€. Soft 464p
