The Saxon Math Intermediate 3 Complete Homeschool Kit comprises the student text, test book and answers, solutions manual, and Power Up workbook, which offers practice with math facts, mental math, and problem solving—something like the Meeting Book in other Saxon versions.

Saxon Intermediate 3 covers topics that include identifying place value, completing patterns, mastering multiplication and division facts, calculating with multi-digit numbers, adding positive and negative numbers, adding and subtracting fractions with common denominators, telling time to the minute, making change for a dollar, and graphing.
