Redeem your Vitalsource eTextbook by following the instructions below:
PC/Mac
- Install the VitalSource Bookshelf using the following link: download
- Go to online.vitalsource.com and register for an account.
- Within the online VitalSource account, click “Account” from the top menu and choose “Redeem.”
- Enter the eTextbook Redemption Code listed above (also found on your email receipt).

iPad and Other iOS Devices
- Go to the App store on your iPad.
- Download the VitalSource app.
- Go to online.vitalsource.com and Register for an account.
- Within the online VitalSource account, click “Account” from the top menu, and choose “Redeem.”
- Enter the eTextbook redemption code listed at the top of this page (also found on your email receipt).
- Go back to the App on your iOS device, login with your account information, and download your book(s).
Android and Other Mobile Devices
- Go to support.vitalsource.com and select the mobile device you are using.
- Follow the instructions for downloading the App to your mobile device.
- Go to online.vitalsource.com, and register for an account
- Within the online VitalSource account, click “Account” from the top menu, and choose “Redeem.”
- Enter the eTextbook redemption code listed at the top of this page (also found on your email receipt)..
- Go back to the App on your mobile device, login with your account information, and download your book(s).
*It is important to actually download the eBook to your Bookshelf rather than just viewing it online. Downloading the book provides you with better printing options should you wish to print anything and offers permanent access to your eBook. Please note that online eBook access is only available for one year from your purchase date. Permanent access is available by downloading your eBook to your Bookshelf. There is a $2 fee to have a replacement code issued to you should you neglect to download the eBook within that year time frame.
