Math 6 - Math-U-See Pre-Algebra - Summer C - Live Online Course

Summer C (June 1, 2026 to August 21, 2026)

Math 6 Math-U-See Pre-Algebra strengthens students’ foundational skills and builds understanding and mastery of negative numbers and exponents. This course introduces algebraic concepts, such as polynomial operations and solving for an unknown, illustrating the logical and structured nature God has given to mankind. Through exploring order of operations, and geometric reasoning, students recognize that mathematics is a tool provided by God for understanding His creation. Students develop skills to measure surface area and volume. Other topics include identifying rational and irrational numbers, the pythagorean theorem, measures of central tendency, GCF, LCM, squares and square roots, and conversion between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperatures. This course will solidify basic mathematics skills and prepare students for success in Algebra I. Homework will average 4-5 hours per week.
