In Logic I, students focused on learning deductive reasoning skills. In Logic II students continue their journey into the world of logic by focusing on inductive reasoning. Students will learn the basic principles of debate, rules for evaluating sources of information, and guidelines for building inductive arguments. Students will also begin their transition toward Rhetoric by studying Common Topics and their use in the discovery of persuasive arguments. Homework will average 3 - 4 hours per week.
