Pre-Calculus Math-U-See - Live Online Course
Details
Pre-Calculus is an introduction to advanced studies preparing the student for Calculus. It combines classic trigonometry with advanced algebra skills. Mastery of linear equations, inequalities and systems will be applied to the study of functions, the nature of graphs, and vectors. Topics include understanding trigonometric ratios, their reciprocals, and their inverses; trigonometric expressions and identities; polar coordinates and radian measure; graphing and analyzing trigonometric functions; understanding functions, limits, domain, and range; Arithmetic and Geometric series and sequences; Laws of Sines and Cosines; Sum, Difference, Double-Angle, and Half-Angle Identities; proving trigonometric identities; and logarithms and natural logarithms. Math-U-See Pre-Calculus meets the Pre-Calculus requirement for the VSA Associate and Standard Level diploma only. Homework will average 5-7 hours per week.
