Math 1 - Best - Saxon 2 - You Teach

This is what we deem the standard "Best" option for Math in 1st Grade. This option utilizes the "You Teach" method, which is a term we have coined for traditional, parent-taught homeschooling.

Recommended for your first graders, Saxon 2 teaches young minds in an incremental manner slowly building on previously learned concepts. It covers working with larger numbers, geometric shapes, Venn diagrams, graphs, basic calculations, simple fractions and multi-step problems. Children will learn their multiplication facts this year, too.
