Bible - Good - The Gospels - You Teach

This is what we deem our "Good" option for Bible in 5th Grade. This option utilizes the "You Teach" method, which is a term we have coined for traditional, parent-taught homeschooling.

Covering 32 events in the four Gospels—Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John—students will learn the heart of the Bible. Stories about Jesus dominate—and for very good reason. This series incorporates those stories, but it does more. Through the events studied, students will learn to sequence events, to see how the four Gospels parallel each other and come to grips with the most influential 33 years in all of history. This award-winning course was created to stand alone or integrate with the Veritas history courses. The objectives include building a timeline knowledge of who, what, when, and where and are easily accomplished with clever approaches to the content and regular review. Completion of this course along with the other four Bible courses will give children a remarkable knowledge of their Bibles that they will take with them for life! This course is recommended for 5th grade but can be taught in 2nd – 6th grades.
