This is what we deem the "Best" option for Bible in 6th Grade. This option utilizes the "You Teach" method, which is a term we have coined for traditional, parent-taught homeschooling.
Covering 32 events in the books of Acts through Revelation, students will learn the history of and teaching to the early church in the first century. The epistles and other books studied in this series remain very important to study as many of these texts will be part of a deeper dive into theological issues in the student’s next few years. This award-winning course was created to stand alone or integrate with the Veritas history courses. The objectives include building a timeline knowledge of who, what, when, and where and are easily accomplished with clever approaches to the content and regular review. Completion of this course along with the other four Bible courses will give children a remarkable knowledge of their Bibles that they will take with them for life! This course is recommended for 6th grade but can be taught in 2nd – 6th grades.
